We LOVE Teaching!
We require that our tutors:
Love teaching.
Understand how to make any subject appealing to even the most reluctant of learners.
Understand the student’s learning profile.
By combining the latest resources, and adapting to every student’s backgrounds, abilities, and personal interests (including those with IEPs), Book Dumpling Tutors creates a fun, creative and disciplined learning environment.
What is Important to Us
Our objective is to make subjects relatable to students by offering real-world examples.
If permitted, liaising with parents, teachers and the student’s community to gain a better understanding of the student’s strengths and weaknesses.
Staying attentive to students at-risk of failing.
Bringing equity to the table.
Offering the student(s) a chance to work hard and receive validation.
Our tutors continually receive professional development ranging from strategies on how to support learning disabilities (including ADHD, processing disorders, behavioural disorders and developmental delays), to how to excel at teaching Ministry Exam material and High School Entrance Exam practice tests.
