Jeremy R.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. He also completed his Master’s degree in Earth and Planetary Sciences at McGill University where he specialized in ice sheet dynamics and future sea level change.
He has worked in science research for around five years, studying topics in physical climatology ranging from extreme weather events to oceanography. He has also worked as a tutor for several years, having taught over 40 students in high school, Cégep, and university in the US and Canada.
Jeremy’s specialties include: AP Physics I/II/C, Cégep Physics, University Physics courses in Mechanics and Electromagnetism, Calculus I/II, Linear Algebra, and high school math and science.
While in University, Jeremy also co-founded a peer mentorship program that matched upper year atmospheric physics students to new undergraduates in order to provide academic support and tutoring.
Jeremy understands that approaching physics and higher level mathematics for the first time is often intimidating, and he loves to help students interpret and enjoy these highly interesting topics.
