Megan L.
Megan is currently completing her Phd from McGill University in Molecular Biology. She holds her Bachelor of Science, Major in Nutrition, Concentration in Nutritional Biochemistry from McGill University, and her DEC in Health Science from John Abbott College.
Megan’s specialties include Science, Math, and English (including Biology, Chemistry, Calculus and IB curriculum) for Grades 7-12.
Megan has been a private Tutor for years and has worked with students of all ages and learning styles. She has also worked as a SEC IV Science Teacher, where she developed lectures and laboratories to prepare students for Ministry examinations. As a longtime Teaching Assistant in Molecular and Organismal Biology at McGill University, Megan continues to refine her communication and teaching skills. She additionally serves as a national student mentor (STEMNet), providing guidance and support to students entering graduate school.
Megan is a provincial Fonds de recherche de Québec (Nature et technologies), Doctoral scholar. She also holds a McGill PhD Wolfe Award for academic and athletic achievement and received an English Honors Award.
Megan’s compassionate personality combined with her love of teaching all ages, creates an incredibly dynamic and supportive learning environment.
