Lucie B.

Lucie holds her Masters in Cognitive Sciences (Computer Science) from McGill University, her Honors BA in Mathematics, Statistical Options and Computer Science, from the University of Ottawa, and her DEC in applied sciences and music from Outaouais CEGEP.

Her specialties include: math, science, and French (both native and non-native speakers). In addition, she works with students on meeting standardized testing requirements to pass both math and language requirements in different settings, including those of the government.

She has worked for years as a Math Tutor for private clients in: high school, CEGEP, University, and the public sector. She also worked for the World Community Center in Quebec, at the Intensive Learning Center. (C.A.I.), and as a substitute math and science teacher at St-Charles-Garnier Colleges, Mont St-Sacrement and the High School of Charlesbourg. She has worked as a math teacher at CÉGEP St-Lawrence, and at Champlain College.

As a teacher, she prepares material according to an approved, Quebec curriculum, while consolidating learning to prevent or make up for academic delays. Lucie identifies individual needs and is a firm believer in personalized working methods and learning strategies.
