Michaela B.
Michaela earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McGill University, where she also completed a minor in Behavioural Neuroscience. She is currently finishing a minor in Anthropology at McGill and completed her DEC in Social Sciences from John Abbott College. Additionally, Michaela is pursuing a Personal Training Certificate with the YMCA, focusing on all age groups.
Her specialties include Science, English, French, and History for elementary and high school students.
With many years of experience as an independent tutor, Michaela has helped teach children aged up to 17 with various learning disabilities, including ADHD and AuDHD. Her background also includes working in a kindergarten setting, where she assisted with classroom activities and ensured a safe play environment for young children.
In addition, Michaela has delivered independent childcare services, where she was responsible for the children throughout the day. She not only managed their daily needs but also designed and implemented engaging activities specifically tailored for children on the Autism Spectrum. As an avid sports enthusiast, she has volunteered for many years with Learn to Skate, teaching skating and Ringette to children aged 4 to 10.
She firmly believes that with patience, consistency, and dedication, any goal is achievable.
