Evelyn H.
Evelyn is completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at McGill, and holds her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, Biochemistry Specialization with Distinction, from Concordia University. She has her D.E.C. in Health Sciences from John Abbott College.
Evelyn’s specialties include: science (including Organic Chemistry), math, French and English.
As the Tutorial Leader for General Chemistry at Concordia, Evelyn met weekly with groups of students to review topics, prepare course material, answer difficult questions, and grade work. As a tutor for the Access Center at Concordia, she tutored Organic Chemistry. She was also a Lab Manager Assistant/Laboratory Technician at McGill University.
Evelyn has also worked for Kumon as a math and reading tutor. At The Ivy Learning Center, she tutored French through practicing pronunciation, reading, writing and comprehension with students.
Evelyn inspires confidence within her students by working one-on-one with her for tutoring and helping them solve complicated exercises through practice and patience.
