Randy H.
Randy is completing his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Applied Artificial Intelligence. He holds a French Baccalaureate (with Distinction) in General Science.
His specialties include: math (elementary functions, algebra, calculus I + II, linear algebra, vectors, probability and statistics); physics: (waves, mechanics, kinematics and kinetics, electricity and magnetism), and SATs (Reading, Writing, Math, Physics subject test).
Randy has worked for five years as an independent tutor and counselor for High School, Cégep and University students, during which time he communicated with both teachers and parents to provide students with comprehensive support in order to optimize the tutoring sessions.
He has taught at Etcetera Special Needs Center where he assisted students with understanding fundamental concepts in order to become independent learners.
He currently leads exam revision for math and science, and teaches seminars for SAT preparation at Lower Canada College.
Randy believes that students are instinctual learners: he understands that every student learns differently, and offers personalized lessons accordingly.
