Perla B.
Perla graduated in Pure and Applied Math at Concordia University, where she received the International Excellence Scholarship. At Tirana HS in New York, she graduated with High Distinction and was the Recipient of the Medal of Excellence award.
Her specialties include: French, English (all ages), Math (including Cal I + Iil Linear Algebra), and Economics.
She has worked for years with students in both Elementary and High School, helping them to understand concepts, language patterns, time management, and study skills. She currently teaches Grade 10 ministry maths to students needing remedial help at a private HS in Montreal.
As both an Economics and Mathematics Peer Tutor and Study Group Leader at Concordia University, she conducted one-on-one sessions with students, and prepared and led the final mock exam sessions organized every semester before the final exam.
Perla’s enthusiasm for learning, combined with a gift for teaching, results in a wonderful dynamic and creative classroom. She is gifted at walking students through complex equations and making them simple.
