Jennifer K.

Jennifer holds her Bachelors of Education with a major in Kindergarten and Elementary Students, and holds her specialization in psychology from Dawson College and graduated from Laval Liberty High School, where she graduated with Honors.

She worked as a tutor at Lasry Education where she tutored Elementary and High School in English, French, math, science and History. She currently tutors all of those subjects, including social sciences, at the High School level. She currently teaches at Crestview.

She has worked with children on the Autism spectrum, and children of neglect. At Lasalle Junior she created resources in the Kindergarten class that enabled students to express emotions through original content. She also worked at Agape, a program for disadvantaged children, where she played with children of abused women.

Jennifer worked as a shadow for students with behavioural issues, and at the McGill Office for Students with Disabilities as a note-taker for those with hearing loss. She was a dance teaching assistant at Loisirs St. Maxime and worked at Sylvia’s Day Camp, as a Camp Counsellor, where she shadowed students with special needs.

Her patience, combined with a deep respect for any students experiencing difficulties both within and outside of school, make her an incredible teacher.
